Hi, I'm Tero.
I grew up with two passions that never left me; skateboarding and music.
Neither was ever going to pay the bills, and I knew that early. Design was the serious choice, but the path to get there was never obvious or easy.
I wasn't into computers, apart from drum machines and game consoles, but I drifted into tech. I started as a front-end developer during the heydays of Flash, while applying for design jobs until someone said yes.
Most of my education happened outside any classroom.
Skateboarding taught me that eating sh*t is part of the process — you stop when you stop getting up. Being in bands taught me what real alignment looks like, and how rare it is. DJing taught me to read the room and respond to it rather than execute a plan.
None of these are hobbies. These are subcultures with very little tolerance for imitation. Spending years inside them gives you a radar that's hard to explain and impossible to fake.
That radar is what I bring to every project.
THE GRIND
My work lives at the intersection of brand and product. I craft identities that hold up in physical and digital form, for people that care about how things look and work.
